FEES, BILLING & CANCELLATIONS

Surgeon Consultation Fees:

Our consultation fees for the surgeons range between $150 to $250 depending on the reason for your visit and the length of time required for your consultation.

For cosmetic consultations, we require full prepayment of your appointment at the time of booking. Please refer to our cancellation policy,

With a valid referral supplied by your general practitioner you are able to claim a portion of this fee with Medicare.  Please advise our reception staff if you have a pension card and present to the practice with your current Medicare card.

Payment for all consultations are required to be made on the day.  We have the facility to provide EZYCLAIM allowing you to pay for your consultation and claim the Medicare rebate straight away.  The medicare rebate will be deposited into your chosen bank account if you have this arranged with Medicare.

All follow up appointments are free of charge to you and may be bulk billed.

 

Dermal & Injectable Consultation Fees:

Dermal consultations are complimentary. However, we collect a $50 deposit at the time of booking in to secure your spot. Please refer to our cancellation policy. If you proceed with treatment, then this fee will be deducted off your total.

 

Cancellation Policy:

Please be advised that a deposit of $50 is required to confirm your dermal/injectable appointment. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, you will need to let us know by phone call 03 85602999 (text and email are not acceptable) two business days prior to your appointment. Failure to do this will result in your deposit being forfeited and future appointments will require full prepayment.

Due to extremely high demand, please be advised that late (less than 2 business days) cancellation or rescheduling of an appointment with our surgeons may result in no future appointments being offered to you and no refund of the fees you had paid. To avoid this outcome if you are unwell and therefore should not attend our premises, please inform us ASAP so that we can proceed with a telehealth (facetime) consultation instead.

 

Methods of payment include:

Credit card:  Accepted over the phone, in person or via the post by completing a form supplied when an invoice is issued.

Cash and EFTPOS:  Can be made in person at our consulting rooms

Cheques:  Bank cheques are preferred however we also accept personal cheques are all accepted.

Direct deposit: Bank account details will be supplied for convenient direct transfer.

Money Order

Finance:

In order to remain completely transparent it is Horizon Plastic Surgery’s belief that it would be a conflict of interest if we were to provide you with finance.  We strongly recommend not using finance to pay for your procedure however if you do require finance then it’s best to research it yourself to find what best suits you.

After your consultation with the surgeon you will be provided with an estimate of the cost of the treatment or surgery that you require and our friendly reception staff will explain this to you in detail on the day.
